What is BLOCKABOX
BLOCKABOX is an anti arson letterbox blocker that's innovative, low cost and re-useable temporary anti arson letterbox security solution that is used for a variety of applications by UK Fire and Rescue Services, Police Forces and Local Authority Housing Teams.
BLOCKABOX is a temporary letterbox blocking plate which can easily be fitted in around three minutes without the need for specialist equipment or tools. The innovative design avoids permanent damage to both the door, it's mechanism and attached furniture.
BLOCKABOX is designed to stop residential and commercial properties being targeted by arson attacks, anti-social behaviour and nuisance or unsolicited mail in void properties.

Our Story
BLOCKABOX has been designed and is produced in the United Kingdom by Andrew Pickersgill, a retired Fire Service manager who developed the product based on evidence and experiences gathered throughout a 30 year career of front line operational firefighting working for Nottinghamshire Fire & Rescue Service.
"I developed the product to reduce the risk to the public from anti-social behaviour and arson attacks which sadly are on the increase in the United Kingdom. I have witnessed first hand the devastation and damage these types of incidents cause and I felt compelled to develop a product that would help address this issue."
Applications For Use
BLOCKABOX is a premium anti arson letterbox blocker and was originally designed and developed to prevent and reduce arson related incidents but over time it's use has grown, seeing police forces, local council authorities and private landlords using the product to reduce crime and anti-social behaviour and to protect void or empty properties.
